Blogs I follow

I'll admit it, I am behind the times. I have only recently discovered the joy of blogging, both reading and writing. What in the world have I been missing?? I mean, I missed that whole My Space thing, and I'm not terribly sorry about that I was always so confused about that whole thing, and have only just recently got into the whole Facebook thing...but in an honesty comment, it is for the games. Thanks Jenny! So it is truly not a surprise that I have just found a love of reading others blogs. There are some I check often, I aim for every day...but I'm a forgetful person. I blame the drugs. Yup. But there are just some that keep me coming back all the time. I love checking up on what people are doing, what they have to share and to keep up with what is going on in friends lives. I stink at emailing too...surprise..surprise. Here are a few of my favorite blogs, in no particular order just the order that is in my Yahoo Bookmarks.

My friend Michi, Falling Into My Own Sarchasm, is a wonderful woman with a wicked sense of humor and keeps me laughing with her blog posts. She has a unique look on the world, one that I just enjoy. She is very passionate about her beliefs and a Blue October Super Fan. {Please note: I did not say fanatic, even if the definition of the word fits you Michi.}

I play World of Warcraft. I love playing WoW. I enjoy it so very much and before my health took a bit of a turn I was fairly dedicated. I would research and read bloggers about WoW, all in an effort to make my character the best healer she could be and to understand other classes. There was a WoW blogger who I enjoyed for his sense of human, an amazing ability to tell what is going on and his conversations with his brain, Big Red Kitty. Alas, he no longer plays WoW or blogs on WoW but one can visit his blog that is about his life with his son. In Brain Needed Space Daniel covers just about all the subjects one encounters in life. I usually am laughing by the time I am finished or reading out loud to Alex as we both laugh. His ability to touch on everything and make it funny is something that I am very jealous of. I shall challenge him to a duel! Once I learn how to pvp.

Anyone who visits The Pioneer Woman can appreciate the beauty of Ree. She looks at the world, often through the lens of her camera, in a way that has touched me. I am hoping to have my ranch someday....as long as I don't have to get up early, don't actually have to touch the animals and I'm sure as soon as I do get a ranch, I will be a professional cook. Ree opens up her life and passions to everyon on the internet and we are all the better for it. Her site is a wealth of information on just about every aspect of life. One can visit her Confessions, which her blog on daily life. Pop on over to her Photography lesson. Mix up something delicious in her cooking section, both her own and the community recipe library at Tasty Kitchen. Or check out her information on homeschooling and what products she uses. I love this site!! I HIGHLY recommend her recipe for Simple Seasme Noodles. They are very yummy and great with chicken! We are believers of adding in protein into our starches in this family. I have a list of her recipes that I am going to try, I shall keep you all updated.

Then we come to the final traditional blog that I follow: Temerity Jane. This blog is a mash of informaiton, the irrationalness of a woman and the man who loves her...or puts up with her. I have pointed out things to Alex and say, "At least I don't do that." I always get the impression he is just agreeing so I won't get upset. Wise man...11 years of marriage and he has learned something! Anyways...back to the blog. I am just tickled about just everything on this blog. I always laugh when I read it and find I am a bit more neurotic than I am. If you need any reason to read this blog just check out her Cosmo recap. Since Cosmo puts in it's own recap, because as Temerity Jane says, even Cosmo doesn't think you have time to read Cosmo, she reads it and fills you in. Check it out!

Alright, I admit it, I'm a dork and one of my favorite things to watch is the Vlogbrothers. I discovered this vlog by accident one of the very rare times I visited Youtube. These brothers are great and truly embrace their inner nerd. Which if you know Alex and I, it so fits in with us. This vlog started as a challenge between the two brothers to go for a year without using text communication and only communicating via video posts on Youtube. A whole community has grown out of it who are dedicated to embracing intelligence and "nerdness" and fighting World Suck. They are fun and enjoyable and make me think about different situations in the United States and the world over.

There you all are. A few of my favorite things on this internet.
